Neuro-Affirming Support
Neurodivergence is not something that needs to be “fixed.” Whether you are Autistic, ADHD, or navigate the world with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, or other processing differences, your brain is simply wired uniquely. Traditional therapy often tries to fit neurodivergent people into neurotypical boxes I don’t, I do things differently.
Neuro-affirming counselling focuses on understanding your specific brain map rather than pathologisng your traits. We move away from behaviour modification and toward self-advocacy and empowerment.
Support Tailored to You
We recognise that many neurodivergent individuals also navigate “co-occurring” challenges like anxiety, burnout, or RSD (Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria). My goal is to provide a therapeutic environment that is flexible, sensory-aware, and deeply respectful of your autonomy.
You deserve a space where you don’t have to translate yourself. Let’s work with your brain, not against it.

Anxiety Therapy
Anxiety is a natural part of life, but when it begins to dictate your every waking hour, it’s time to try a new approach. Whether you are struggling with the constant what ifs, maybe’s or the repetitive loops of OCD, you don’t have to navigate the noise alone.
Anxiety often feels like a mind stuck in the future, scanning for threats and telling you constant untruths. It leaves you in a state of physical and psychological exhaustion.
OCD acts like a faulty alarm system to trap you in a cycle of obsessions and compulsions to keep you safe.
Therapy provides a place where you can start to make sense of these patterns that have been learnt. Together we will work towards lessening these symptoms and develop practical tools to help you move from a state of surviving to thriving. I know these feelings well and what I have learnt is there’s no cure, however we can have control over the thought’s and eventually learn to live a life we want.
Your thoughts don’t have to be the boss of you, ultimately thoughts are just thoughts. Let me help you to find some peace again where you can plan ahead without the fear of it being taken away.

A Space for Every Stage
When a child or teenager is struggling, it often feels like the whole family is holding its breath. Whether they are dealing with big emotions, school anxiety, or the fallout of a difficult life event, my goal is to provide a space where they feel safe, heard, and most importantly understood.
Working with young people requires a shift from traditional “talk therapy” to a more dynamic, developmental approach. Here is how I support children and teens aged 5–17
The way we approach our sessions depends entirely on your child’s age and where they are emotionally. We don’t just sit and talk; we use the languages that children and teens naturally speak.
For Younger Children (Ages 7–12)
At this age, children often lack the complex vocabulary to explain why they feel sad or angry. Instead, they “play” their feelings out.
Creative Expression
We use play, drawing, and storytelling to help them process their world.
Emotional Literacy
We focus on naming "big feelings" and learning how to manage them before they become overwhelming.
Parental Collaboration
I work closely with you to provide tools you can use at home to reinforce their progress.
Adolescents (Ages 13–17)
As children move into their teenage years, they are navigating a massive shift in identity and independence.
Building Trust
My first priority is creating a "judgment-free zone" where they feel safe to be honest without fear of getting in trouble. I also try to keep things real with no adult speak, to build a rapport requires empathy and kindness. We laugh a lot and cry sometimes. I learn so much from them and they get a different perspective from me.
Practical Coping Skills
We tackle real world issues like social media pressure, friendship dynamics, and academic stress using cognitive and mindfulness tools, music and creativity.
Autonomy & Privacy
While I keep parents informed of overall progress, I respect the teenager’s need for a private space to explore their thoughts, which is essential for building their autonomy, resilience and confidence.
